Medical Laboratory Technologist

Responsibilities

• Performing basic bench work in all areas of the laboratory on clinical specimens.
• Understanding and troubleshooting quality control issues.
• Correctly registering patients, orders, runs, and results tests in the hospital/laboratory information system.
• Maintaining compliance with CLIA regulations.
• Possessing knowledge of microbiology procedures and antibiotic use and selection.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science/medical technology, or related field with at least two years of experience.
• Nationally recognized license under ASCP, AMT, or NCA guidelines.
• Licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in the state of Montana.

Qualifications

Must be presently eligible for permanent employment in the United States.

Skills

Knowledge of microbiology procedures and antibiotic use and selection.
