Medical Laboratory Technician - Per Diem Variable
About the role
The Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MLT / CLT personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain certification and licensure.

Qualifications
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting may be required for position, based on assigned duties.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
