Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - ECU General Pediatrics

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing.
• Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity.
• Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life-threatening to the patient.
• Maintain properly documented records of activities.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Medical Laboratory Technician).
• Less than 1 year of experience is required.
• Preferred ASCP or equivalent certification.

Pay

$22.42 - $32.68 per hour.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8:30 am - 5:30 pm).
