Medical Laboratory Technician - MLT
About the role
Saratoga Medical is seeking Medical Lab Technicians to work at Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms. The position operates on a Monday through Friday, day shift schedule, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely results for diagnostic tests
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers
Requirements
- Education: Graduated from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by NAACLS or ABHES, or an acceptable AMT program
- Certification: ASCLP or AMT certification
- Experience: At least one year of relevant experience
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC, required before start date
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency in laboratory equipment and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
