Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Medical Technologist (MT) or Registered Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform laboratory procedures across various departments, including Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and procedures
• Perform quality control and troubleshooting
• Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance
• Collect and process specimens
• Provide technical support to staff and healthcare providers
• Work collaboratively within a team under supervision
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with CLIA and HIPAA regulations
• Maintain high-quality standards and support laboratory operations
• Uphold organizational policies and contribute to community health initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (for MT) or associate degree (for MLT)
• Certification from ASCP or AMT
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures
