Job Summary
Join our team as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)! This position accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Job Requirements
- Required Education and Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA
- OR High school diploma/GED and completed an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational speciality of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician)
- Certification Preferred:
- MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:
- Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as judged by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory
