Position Overview
Lake Region State College (LRSC) seeks a qualified and motivated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Instructor/Program Coordinator to lead and develop the college’s MLT program.
Primary & Secondary Schooling
- Develop and assess curriculum, policies, and program outcomes.
- Serve as the liaison with clinical partners, coordinating student placements and maintaining collaborative relationships with hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
- Manage program operations, including budgeting, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
- Promote career awareness and employability skills among students.
Background
This position reports directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Health & Medical Jobs Current ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Current North Dakota licensure.
- Teaching experience in post-secondary education.
- Must meet faculty qualification standards per LRSC policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Three years of post-secondary teaching experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $67,000 per year, based on qualifications.
