Responsibilities
- Calibrates and operates a variety of equipment
- Obtains samples, conducts tests and reports accurate and complete results to physicians on a variety of tests
Requirements
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Prior appropriate laboratory experience or combination of education and experience which establishes eligibility for the CMS personnel requirements
- Must meet the personnel criteria as determined by CMS as personnel performing moderately and highly complex testing
- Must possess, at a minimum, an Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related; ASCP preferred
