Medical Laboratory Technician
Job Summary
Perform tests and procedures in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. Are accountable for accurate results, the proper use of quality control materials and evaluation of those results. Must be able to recognize the interdependency of tests and conditions that affect test results. Participate in continuing education, competency and proficiency testing.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical School Diploma or Certificate in Medical Lab Technician required
- Current Medical Laboratory Technician Certification through AMT or ASCP or AAB is required
