Medical Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) position at Avita Health System is responsible for providing laboratory services to meet patient needs, performing diagnostic and monitoring procedures, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Maintains chemistry analyzers and trains others on proper procedures
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and accreditation standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related science field (with an MLT/MLS certification)
• Current BLS certification
• Three years of previous clinical laboratory experience preferred
