Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician - Full-Time

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician to support a newly established outpatient laboratory focused on oncology diagnostics. As a key team member, you will perform complex laboratory testing, handle biological specimens, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, and OSHA. Responsibilities include building laboratory operations from the ground up, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining high-quality diagnostic services. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in medical technology, biological or chemical sciences, along with certification (MLS or categorical). Required skills include strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical demands involve standing, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and handling biological hazards. Preferred qualifications include certifications from recognized organizations, experience with phlebotomy, and knowledge of specimen handling and medical terminology.
