Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician - Full-Time

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support a new outpatient clinic, contributing to laboratory operations for oncology diagnostics. Key responsibilities include: Performing complex laboratory testing with high technical proficiencyEnsuring compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA)Assisting with specimen collection, receipt, and processingServing as a resource for department troubleshooting and quality assuranceBuilding laboratory workflows and procedures from the ground up as a founding team member Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, chemical, or biological sciencesCertification (MLS or categorical) or proof of completion from an accredited programAbility to perform phlebotomy and handle biological specimensStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsBasic computer proficiency and attention to detailPersonal maturity, responsibility, and excellent customer service skills Physical & Environmental Demands: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle biological hazards with proper precautions. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work independently within a dynamic laboratory environment.
