Job Summary

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist PRN with Medical City North Hills, you will perform various laboratory procedures, maintain records, and assist with training programs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist. At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist
  • One year experience in a hospital setting preferred

What You Will Do

You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections. You will maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control. You will also maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment, and assist with laboratory training programs as required.
