Medical Laboratory Scientist responsible for performing, developing, and interpreting routine and specialized laboratory tests to support diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens for analysis.
• Perform quality control procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Analyze test results.
• Ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Manage supply inventories.
• Adapt communication and procedures to diverse patient populations.
• Conduct accurate laboratory tests independently.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation issues.
• Follow safety and compliance standards.
• Support operational efficiency.
• Ensure laboratory accreditation standards are met.
• Maintain safety protocols.
• Work flexibly within a healthcare environment to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field.
• Current state license, if applicable.
• Generalist certification (ASCP, AMT, or AAB).
• No work experience required.
