Medical Laboratory Scientist - Full Time, Variable
About the role
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, test result reporting, and clerical and patient care support services. The CLS provides service in one or more sections of the laboratory with a high level of accuracy, precision and timeliness and ensures compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards.
Responsibilities
- Process specimens accurately and timely.
- Perform tests with high levels of accuracy and precision.
- Report test results accurately and promptly.
- Provide clerical and patient care support services.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - Science.
- Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in California upon hire.
- One year of experience in a clinical laboratory in the area of responsibility.
- Moderate to high complexity testing experience.
Qualifications
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License.
- One year of experience in clinical laboratory in area of responsibility.
- Moderate to high complexity testing experience.
Skills
- High level of accuracy and precision in specimen processing and test performance.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The base pay range is $51.76 - $80.34.
Schedule
This position is Full-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.
