Medical Laboratory Scientist: Full Time

Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner according to established and approved hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Medical Laboratory Scientist works independently and responsibly with minimal technical supervision while being in compliance with all federal, state, and local agencies. The Medical Laboratory Scientist assists the Laboratory Director with outlined responsibilities.

Work Schedule

This position is anticipated to work a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week between Monday-Friday. Shift times will either be 6 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Schedule will include an on call shift and rotating weekends.

Pay

This is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for THC. As a public entity, our wage range is set on a 30-step scale (Base-30 years of experience). Offer letters and wage determination will be written based on years of experience.
