Medical Laboratory Assistant | Laboratory Admin | Full-time | Nights

Responsibilities

• Perform skin punctures to obtain blood specimens for laboratory testing.
• Promptly and accurately process test requisitions, charge accurately, register and order tests for outpatients, inform techs of stats and other timed or urgent testing.
• Telephone patients, physicians, and nursing units when required.
• Maintain neat and organized collection trays, collection areas, and work areas.
• Demonstrate logical, professional behaviors under demanding and stressful conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy Certification, preferred
