Clinical Laboratory Assistant - Full-time Night Shift

Role: The Clinical Lab Assistant I supports laboratory operations by ensuring accurate specimen processing, data entry, and communication with clinical staff. Responsibilities Collaborate with lab team and healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.Receive, register, and distribute specimens, ensuring proper labeling and handling.Input and retrieve lab results within laboratory information systems.Perform waived testing under supervision, maintain sample integrity, and communicate critical or abnormal results.Monitor refrigerator temperatures, document QC/QA records, and follow up on outstanding orders.Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.Answer phone calls, triage inquiries, and coordinate courier pickups. Qualifications High School Diploma required.Preferred: 1 year of experience in a clinical lab, specimen processing, or phlebotomy. Skills & Attributes: Attention to detail, ability to collaborate, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The role involves working overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility for departmental needs.
