Medical Lab Technician, PRN

About the role

Responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of a licensed medical technologist. Duties include specimen collection, processing, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and preparing specimens for testing
• Operating laboratory equipment to perform tests
• Interpreting test results and reporting findings to healthcare providers
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified medical laboratory technician program
• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting
