Responsibilities

  • Perform moderate to high complex testing and waived testing procedures and reports test results.
  • Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Perform quality control testing.
  • Maintain supplies needed for performance of tests.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures and drug screen collections according to policy and procedure.
  • Accurately register client samples, results with comments, order tests, cancel and add tests as required.
  • Handle with Care participation annually or CPI participation every 2 years.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (May be grandfathered in with Certification or Diploma).
  • TN MLT license preferred but not required.
  • ASCP (MLT) Certification required.

Qualifications

  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Decisive judgment.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Pay

Commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Night shift from 6pm-6am.
