About the role
Performs routine laboratory tests in various sections of the laboratory. Reports to the Director of Laboratory Services.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a member of the clinical laboratory team.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
- Ensures compliance with all laboratory policies and procedures.
- Participates in quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Education: Associate's Degree in Science required.
- Licenses: Certifications: MLT certification through ASCP or AMT preferred.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Frequent sitting, computer/data entry, and instrument handling; occasional standing, walking, and light lifting.
- Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
- Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
