MEDICAL LAB TECH I, MENOMONEE FALLS HOSPITAL

About the role

This is an on-site position at Froedtert Men Falls Hospital. The schedule consists of 10-hour shifts within a 2-week period, including every third weekend and holiday rotation. This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $8,000.

Summary

A Medical Lab Technician performs laboratory procedures using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision. The laboratory professional is responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance, and specimen procurement and processing. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology including an internship at an affiliated laboratory from an accredited institution is required within 60 days of hire
• MLT (ASCP) certification is required within 6 months of hire
