Hospital Laboratory Technician

Essential Functions

• Collects specimens.
• Performs specimen analysis and other tasks and procedures in hematology, urinalysis, serology, chemistry, and microbiology.
• Reports analysis results appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; OR Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
• Credentials: Must meet CLIA required qualifications for Moderate Complexity Testing. The ideal candidate will be certified or registry eligible for certification with the ASCP, AMT or other accrediting organizations.

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours plus a rotational on-call schedule to include weekends, nights, and holidays.
