Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Lab Technician, Laboratory, Nights

Responsibilities

• Independently perform, interpret, and correlate clinical laboratory tests to assist physician diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform testing according to policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical laboratory testing expertise, including problem-solving.

Qualifications

Required for Medical Laboratory Technician:

• Diploma
• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license within 9 months of hire.

Required for Medical Laboratory Scientist:

• Bachelor’s degree
• One of the following certifications within 9 months of hire:
  • Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
  • Molecular Biology (MB)
  • Specialist in Microbiology (SM)
  • Technologist in Microbiology (M)
