Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician - Chemistry (Night Shift)

About the role

We are currently seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientists or Technicians to join our innovative team at Interpath Laboratory. This position is primarily within chemistry but may involve cross-training in immunohematology.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex tests and procedures aimed at detecting, identifying, and analyzing various medical conditions.
• Utilize advanced laboratory technology and resources to enhance workflow and ensure precision in results.
• Collaborate effectively in a dynamic lab setting, contributing to the success of the team.
• Stand or sit for extended periods while conducting laboratory testing.
• Lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Distinguish color and pass a vision acuity test in compliance with CAP regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Certification: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) certification or an equivalent credential required.
• Skills & Expertise: Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication & teamwork, independence & adaptability, ethics & confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

• MLT Starts at $28 per hour (plus night shift differential)
• MLS Starts at $34 per hour (plus night shift differential)

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 11:30 pm - 8:00 am
