Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Microbiology, 40hrs Evenings

About the role

Performs tests, confirms accuracy of results and reports laboratory findings to the Pathologists and other Clinicians. This is an entry-level position for new graduates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Biological Science required
• Must meet CLIA requirements to perform high complexity testing (college transcripts may be requested)

Qualifications

• ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation preferred within 2 years of hire (once certified, promoted to Medical Laboratory Scientist 2)
• Successful completion of a clinical laboratory medicine rotation, clinical practicum, or equivalent clinical laboratory experience (preferred)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.45 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other applicable factors permissible by law.
