Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Microbiology, 40hrs Evenings

About the Role

Performs tests, confirms accuracy of results, and reports laboratory findings to Pathologists and other Clinicians. This is an entry-level position for new graduates who are not yet certified.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a Biological Science (required)
• Must meet CLIA requirements to perform high complexity testing (college transcripts may be requested)

Qualifications

• ASCP certified generalist or categorical Technologist or equivalent accreditation preferred within 2 years of hire (once certified, promoted to Medical Laboratory Scientist 2)
• Successful completion of a clinical laboratory medicine rotation, clinical practicum, or equivalent clinical laboratory experience (preferred)

Pay

The base hourly wage range for this position is $36.00 - $48.45. Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, and applicable shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, or other additional pay practices.
