Medical/JR Clinical Research Coordinator

National Institute of Clinical Research, a research organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, is searching for a highly experienced Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy experience to assist our research coordinators in clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Research Study Coordinator in recruiting subjects for assigned clinical trials.
• Coordinate research activities and visits for subjects enrolled in research projects.
• Schedule research visits for subjects enrolled in clinical trials.
• Perform EKG, routine phlebotomy, and other lab assessments such as vital signs.
• Obtain necessary lab results for subjects.
• Assist the study coordinator in reviewing and requesting medical records.
• Travel to other sites (Hesperia & Barstow) in addition to Victorville.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist with at least one to two years of clinical experience (certification preferred) or a laboratory technician with at least one to two years of clinical experience.
• Experience with PC software applications including word processing.
• Ability and willingness to learn new software programs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
