Responsibilities
- Bear primary teaching responsibility for assigned classes.
- Teach using large group classroom instruction, small group instruction, and hands-on training, coordinating with subject matter experts (SME).
- Develop and implement practical exercises and learning activities, adhering to Special Warfare Center & School (SWCS) guidance and standards.
- Assemble and maintain all material related to blocks of instruction, including lesson plans, visitor’s folders, etc.
Qualifications
- Necessary skills and knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field; creativity and latitude required; customer service skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications; excellent communication and time management skills.
- Minimum qualifications: SOCM-graduate, Combat Medic, or instructor in a USSOCOM medical pipeline course; US Citizen with active Secret clearance; DMV check required; current certifications in BLS-P, TCCC, ACLS-P, PEPP, and AHA; EMT-P certification; ATP certification for instructors of the Special Forces Medical Sergeant course.
