Medical Imaging Technician - Emergency Department

About the Role

Performs various radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional, and CT examinations, utilizing advanced equipment. Capable of executing duties of an ARRT Technologist when not performing CT and responsible for on-call procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality images safely and efficiently.
• Complete exams, transmit studies for radiologist review, and document all procedures.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Prior general radiology experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT, CRT, CPR certifications, and Arizona CTCT license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of CT experience.
• Computed Tomography R.T. (R) (CT) (ARRT) certification.
