Service Area – Detroit, MI

Responsibilities

  • Service MR Imaging Equipment in the Detroit, MI area.
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites in a field-based, customer-facing role.
  • Deliver timely and effective repairs and provide adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Manage financial performance within your territory, including meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and perform necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of field service experience is desired.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography; willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to drive independently day and night, and a good driving record required.
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state you reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions, pending DUI/DWI charges, or other serious moving violations (unless prohibited by state/local law).

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $64,060 - $88,088. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission-eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
