About the role

As a Medical History Specialist, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing patient medical histories to support clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize comprehensive patient medical histories
  • Analyze medical records to identify trends and potential health risks
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and up-to-date medical information
  • Prepare reports and summaries for physicians and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Medical Records, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical record management or healthcare administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
