About the role

This role is truly part‑time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week—designed to fit your life. Availability, shift days and times will be confirmed early in the interview process, and team members will be informed in advance of any schedule changes. Reliability during scheduled hours is greatly valued because patients depend on the plasma we collect, while flexibility on both sides is important.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet and focus on donors while ensuring donor and team safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to be there for donors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs., and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
• 1+ years minimum experience working in a customer‑ or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Pay

Starting hourly wage: $16.00 (reflects the actual starting rate; actual hourly wage offered will comply with state or local minimum‑wage requirements). Daily pay is offered to hourly team members.
