Job Details
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist with check-in and registration
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
- Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
- Verify patient information, insurance details, demographics, and required documentation
- Collect payments, co-pays, and update account information as needed
- Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system
- Support patient reminders, follow-up calls, and general front desk communication
- Cookordinate with clinical staff to help ensure smooth daily patient flow
- Provide professional, compassionate service to patients in person and over the phone
Qualifications
- Previous experience in medical front desk, patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare administration
- Comfortable speaking with patients by phone and in person
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Experience in a community health, FQHC, clinic, or high-volume medical office setting is a plus
