Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and assist with check-in and registration
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, demographics, and required documentation
  • Collect payments, co-pays, and update account information as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record system
  • Support patient reminders, follow-up calls, and general front desk communication
  • Cookordinate with clinical staff to help ensure smooth daily patient flow
  • Provide professional, compassionate service to patients in person and over the phone

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in medical front desk, patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare administration
  • Comfortable speaking with patients by phone and in person
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with EHR/EMR systems preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Experience in a community health, FQHC, clinic, or high-volume medical office setting is a plus
