About the role
The Medical Equipment Technician II - COE provides cost-effective maintenance on company and customer-owned medical equipment to assure it is functioning properly to follow manufacturer specifications. They perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair service under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or supervisor.

Responsibilities
- Conduct cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.
- Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure proper documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency in both movable medical equipment (MME) and patient handling equipment (PHE) or found specialty work and expanded equipment knowledge.
- Demonstrated understanding of the requirements for servicing medical devices.
- Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
- Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
- Maintain proper credentialing and vaccinations to work within customer locations (including COVID-19 vaccination).li>
- Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs, helping with Field Biomedical accounts as needed.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
- The ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
- The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Pay
Pay range: $26.15 - $40.75 per hour. The actual pay offered may vary depending on several factors including geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors.
