Medical Equipment Technician

Primary location: Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on a variety of medical devices including medical beds, infusion pumps, patient monitoring equipment, etc.
• Complete all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and required regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
• Basic computer skills; understanding of computer networks and equipment interaction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.
• Willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Pay

Pay range: $21.80 – $34.03 per hour. This range represents the low and high ends of the Agiliti pay range for this position based on the market locations shown. Actual pay offered may vary depending on geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and related factors. Depending on the position offered, short-term and/or long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation.

Schedule

Flexible hours required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support 24/7 operations. Periodic travel may be required to support business needs.
