Job Description
The Service Technician is a driving position responsible for the delivery, set up, pick up and troubleshooting of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
- Delivering and installing Medical Equipment in a safe and timely manner.
- Instructing patients, family members, and caregivers on equipment functions while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintaining equipment and performing minor repairs while in the field.
- Thoroughly completing all orders on a web-based inventory management system.
Qualifications
- A High School Degree or G.E.D.
- Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid Driver’s License for a minimum of 5 years.
- At least 1 year of Delivery and/or Healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to lift an average of 50 pounds and perform strenuous work.
- Basic phone/computer skills.
- All candidates must have a clean driving record and a clear criminal background check.
Shift Information
Service Technician candidates must be willing/able to work overtime hours, as well as be available for rotating On-Call shifts, which include Weekends and Evenings.
Pay Range
USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
