Overview And Responsibilities

Are you an experienced leader in respiratory home health or durable medical equipment (DME) operations? Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a results-driven Area Manager to oversee multi-site operations, financial performance, and team development across a defined region. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing profitability, and leading a team of Location Managers and clinical staff.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company standards and healthcare regulations (JCAHO, DOT, OSHA, etc.)
  • Lead and develop Location Managers, driving accountability, performance, and patient-centered service
  • Manage area-level P&L, budgets, staffing, inventory, and equipment utilization
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including medical billing and reimbursement guidelines
  • Collaborate with sales and clinical teams to meet service goals and improve patient outcomes
  • Implement company initiatives, tools, and protocols to enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor KPIs, A/R performance, and project deadlines across the region
  • Serve as a key liaison between field operations and executive leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
    • Three years related experience, required
    • Previous supervisory experience, required
    • Background check (company-wide)
    • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
    • Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process (when applicable for the position)
    • Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
