System Program Manager Medical Equipment Planning

Responsibilities

  • Manages strategic initiatives program established by Planning, Design and Construction in collaboration with all markets and vendor partnerships.
  • Oversight of development and integration of the AdventHealth Way standards, guidelines, playbooks, and technologies.
  • Ensures resolution and execution of system governance and standards.
  • Develops and implements industry best practices for design and construction project delivery workflows and project controls.
  • Evaluates current systems and processes to establish and maintain high standards for a comprehensive Center of Excellence program.
  • Utilizes regional subject matter experts to inform rationalization and standardization of processes and methodologies that reduce variation and increase efficiency.
  • Reduces variation and increases efficiency in project delivery.
  • Supports the execution of key initiatives for the Center of Excellence.
  • Provides technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction delivery process.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of local Department of Health Administration regulations, JCAHO / DNV standards, and other applicable codes of the construction industry.
  • Expert knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices, and how they relate to healthcare facilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare facilities space and functional programs in both acute and non-acute settings.
  • Excellent project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, Revit, CAD drawings and related documents.
  • Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills.
  • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and BlueBeam.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective and productive teams.
  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals.
  • Experience launching new programs, teams, and complex strategies across business units.
  • Able to optimize existing resources to achieve economies of scale.
  • Business and strategic plan development experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related healthcare professional field.
  • Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related healthcare professional field (preferred).

Skills
