Responsibilities
- Medical Director responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement clinical protocols
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the same-day surgery center
- Participate in ASC management meetings and administrative work as needed
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for quality assurance and improvement
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback on performance
- Support the recruitment and training of new staff members
- Assist in the development and implementation of continuing education programs
Requirements
- Licensed in MI or eligible for licensure
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology
- Able to manage up to 6-7 rooms daily, typically including 3-4 ORs and 2-3 GI rooms
- Experience in outpatient surgery and anesthesiology
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- MD capable of managing up to 6-7 rooms daily; typically, 3-4 ORs and 2-3 GI rooms in a hybrid Medical Direction / CRNA Independent practice model
- Experience in outpatient surgery and anesthesiology
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
