Position Summary

The Pace Medical Director is an Internal Medicine Physician or Geriatrician working under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer. This hybrid position has admin and clinical duties. As a clinician, the Pace Medical Director provides primary medical care services to CSV PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) participants, including health assessments, development of a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and evaluation of effectiveness of the plan of care. During the admin time, the PACE medical director will collaborate with CSV staff and external stakeholders for the creation, planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Pace Program.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school as an M.D., or D.O.
  • Certified California Medical License
  • DEA Certificate
  • Current BLS certification through the AHA
  • Board Certification in respective specialty
  • Previous leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in geriatrics by the ABIM or ABFM
  • Previous experience in PACE programs
  • Previous experience in quality improvement activities and/or value-based programs
  • Proficient on Epic (EHR)
  • Previous experience in Electronic Health Record optimization activities
  • Interests in clinical research
  • Proficiency in Medical Spanish
