Key Responsibilities

• PRACTICING TWELVE-HOUR (12) SHIFTS WITH A 1-HOUR BREAK.
• FULL-TIME WILL BE 12 SHIFTS PER MONTH, 2 ON-CALL SHIFTS PER MONTH, AND MANAGING UP TO 4 MID-LEVEL PROVIDERS.
• TREAT 4 PATIENTS PER HOUR, FROM NEWBORNS TO GERIATRICS (FULL-SPECTRUM CARE), IN A LOW-ACTIVITY SETTING.
• BREAD & BUTTER PROCEDURES: I&Ds, TOENAIL REMOVAL, AND LACERATION REPAIR.
• EQUIPMENT: IN-HOUSE POINT-OF-CARE TESTING AND X-RAY. ALL X-RAYS ARE OVER-READ BY A BOARD-CERTIFIED RADIOLGYST, WITH RESULTS AVAILABLE WITHIN 20 MINUTES FOR ROUTINE ORDERS.
• EASY-TO-USE EMR: VELOCI DOC WITH DRAGON DICTATION, DOCUMENT PATIENTS IN 1 MINUTE.

Requirements

• MEDICAL DEGREE (M.D. OR D.O).
• COMPLETION OF A FORMAL FAMILY MEDICINE OR EMERGENCY MEDICINE RESIDENCY TRAINING PROGRAM.
• TRULY BOARD-ELIGIBLE OR BOARD CERTIFIED.
• CA MEDICAL LICENSE THAT IS ACTIVE AND IN GOOD STANDING.
• DEA CERTIFICATE.

Pay

Salary: $150/hour plus Malpractice with Tail Sign-On Bonus: $100,000 Stipend: $60,000/year (for Medical Directorship)

Schedule

Urgent Care Medicine, practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break. Full-time will be 12 shifts per month, 2 on-call shifts per month, and managing up to 4 mid-level providers. Treat 4 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics (full-spectrum care), in a low-acuity setting. Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair. Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray. All X-rays are over-read by a Board-Certified Radiologist, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
