Lead a Team That Changes Lives
New Season Treatment Centers is a national leader in addiction treatment and recovery services, helping individuals overcome Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) through Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), medical care, and behavioral health services. We are seeking a Medical Director (MD or DO) to provide medical oversight, physician leadership, and clinical support for our outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical oversight for patient care and treatment services
- Conduct admission, annual, and follow-up physical examinations
- Oversee Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and medication management
- Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and counselors
- Participate in treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with DEA, SAMHSA, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, state, and federal regulations
- Provide physician leadership, staff training, and clinical guidance
- Support positive patient outcomes and long-term recovery
Qualifications
- Active Missouri Physician License (MD or DO)
- Active DEA Registration
- Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or eligibility
- Experience in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Behavioral Health, or Substance Use Disorder Treatment preferred
- Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
