Responsibilities

• Serve as the attending physician for patients in each assigned skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• Collaborate with NPs/PAs to manage daily patient care and oversee clinical supervision.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions.
• Participate in Theoria’s Chronic Care Management, Transitional Care, Remote Patient Monitoring, and other quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Physicians (MD/DO) must hold an active U.S. medical license.
• Board-certified in an appropriate specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, General Practice, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Medicine).
• New graduates who are board-eligible and actively pursuing licensing are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Pay

The estimated compensation range for this position is $216,000 to $300,000 per year, based on expected earnings under our uncapped productivity-based compensation model. Additional earning opportunities include:

• Up to $50,000 in longevity bonus opportunities, rewarding long-term commitment.

Schedule

• Physicians cover each facility 1–2 days per week.
• No fixed start or end times.
• Freedom from on-call and overnight requirements.
