About the role
Community and Family Resources is seeking a Nurse to provide medical care for clients in our Medically Monitored Detox Unit in Fort Dodge. This position offers nursing autonomy, direct impact on quality care, and active decision-making for patients suffering from substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment and care plan delivery for clients following physician and standing orders.
- Be an active member of the integrated care team.
- Participate in individualized discharge planning for each client.
- Collaborate closely with medical providers to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with an active license in Iowa.
- Experience in substance use treatment services is preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time, 10-hour shifts PRN (as needed).
- Includes every other weekend and every other holiday.
