Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, physicians, and staff promptly and professionally.
- Deliver exemplary service using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You) principles, inspiring confidence and promoting a positive image of HRRMC.
- Manage multiple interactions seamlessly and handle emergencies with calm professionalism.
- Stay informed about practice schedules, services, and provider information to assist patients effectively.
- Takes the initial de-escalation training and a refresher training at least yearly or as assigned by management.
Accurate and Efficient Registration
- Maintain a minimum of 95% registration accuracy, ensuring patient information is entered correctly and consistently.
- Complete patient registrations swiftly (within 5 minutes on average) to optimize patient flow.
- Verify and update demographics, insurance, and primary care physician details during every encounter.
- Confirm insurance eligibility and tactfully collect copays or deposits at the time of service.
Comprehensive Documentation
- Obtain and verify patient identification, including photo ID and insurance cards.
- Educate patients about the value of the patient portal and assist with account setup.
- Provide required documentation such as the Patient Privacy Statement and Bill of Rights.
- Gather necessary consents, including treatment authorization and communication preferences.
- Is cross-trained and competent to work check-in in all medical specialties.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school degree, plus a minimum of three years of responsible business experience, preferably in a public relations, healthcare setting, or other professional setting.
