About the role

The Medical Childcare Lead is responsible for overseeing the medical care provided in our childcare programs. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure the highest quality of care for children.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of medical protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans for children with special needs
• Provide clinical supervision to childcare staff and volunteers
• Conduct regular assessments of children's health and development
• Stay updated on best practices in pediatric care and special education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a pediatric or special education environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic health records systems
• Knowledge of child development and special education principles
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
