Responsibilities

• Maintain quality of claims work queues
• Monitor and resolve Trinity Health Front End Metrics
• Review denial/rejection and write-off dashboards for trends
• Ensure all necessary referral documentation is obtained
• Run monthly reports to identify outbound referrals
• Process inpatient charges submitted by providers
• Enter charges manually and reconcile daily
• Review claims for appropriate information
• Offer financial assistance options to patients
• Provide feedback to Revenue Integrity team
• Act as a Superuser and resource for patient questions

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in a physician practice or billing office
• Orthopedics Billing experience required
• High school diploma or equivalency required; Associates degree preferred
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organization & effective time management
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, related computer programs & general office machines

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 20 lbs.

Pay

Pay Range: $20.20 - $27.47 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
