Medical Billing Representative

About the role

A very busy and growing home based medical billing company is looking for a person to take on the important role of entering our clients' billing and account follow up. The position is located in Lombard, IL.

Responsibilities

• Entering client billing and account follow up
• Payment posting
• Working with insurance companies
• Dealing with patients
• Answering telephones
• Scheduling patients

Requirements

• Microsoft Office, Excel, and technology knowledge (Required)
• Must possess the ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology, CPT Codes, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, Modifiers and Diagnosis Codes
• Ability to work independently and prioritize monthly workflow
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organization and time management skills
• Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Must live 30 minutes or less from Lombard, IL

Qualifications

• Experience with Medisoft and Revenue Management (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Availity, Office Ally, data entry (Preferred)
• Payer portal and clearinghouse experience (Preferred)
• Prior experience working with Chiropractic, Podiatry and Mental Health (Preferred)

Pay & Schedule
