Initially, you will receive comprehensive on-site training before transitioning to a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Post insurance and patient payments accurately
- Apply adjustments and denials per EOBs/ERAs
- Reconcile daily deposits
- Resolve discrepancies in payments
- Collaborate closely with billing and collections teams
- Maintain compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations
- Ensure precise record-keeping and documentation of all transactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in medical billing or cash posting
- Solid understanding of EOBs, ERAs, and CPT/ICD codes
- Proficiency with billing software and electronic payment systems
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
